Funding for Forces Families Jobs

AFF has received funding from the MOD Armed Forces Families Fund Supporting Partners Programme to extend the reach and sustainability of the online training and employment platform Forces Families Jobs (FFJ).

The grant will enable AFF to implement some of the recommendations from last year’s Positive Futures project, which reviewed the range of employment support available to military partners, and explored the next stage for FFJ.

AFF Employment & Training Specialist Lucy Ritchie said: “AFF is delighted to have been awarded funding for the Delivering Positive Futures for Partners project.

“The award will ensure that Forces Families Jobs provides the best possible support to Forces families at all stages of their career development.

“This project will further develop the online platform, bringing together employers committed to the Armed Forces Covenant and military partners on their journey to find employment and training opportunities that fit with Forces life.”

FFJ is run by AFF in collaboration with the Naval (NFF) and RAF Families Federations (RAFFF). It connects military spouses and partners with Armed Forces friendly employers and training providers, as well as those providing employment support, enabling better access to employment, education and training.

The Supporting Partners Programme is administered by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.
