If you haven’t had a gas or electricity inspection recently, you may be visited in the next few weeks by an engineer to carry this out. You’ll receive a letter or phone call if you’re affected.
To ensure the checks are taking place, DIO is undertaking a new programme to complete these inspections starting next week. Appointments will be all day to allow engineers to attend as many checks as they can.
DIO has worked with local units and the chain of command to plan visits around unit commitments to allow Service personnel to work from home on the day of the inspection. See GOV.UK: DIO Service Family Accommodation – latest news for SFA residents
If nobody can be home, details of how to rearrange appointments will be on the letter – unit welfare teams can provide further support.
