Valued support from Army Central Fund

AFF is a recipient of funding from the Army Central Fund – the British Army’s grant making charity. ACF contributes more than £2.5 million a year in support of the serving community.

In 2023 this included £760,000 to the Army Welfare Grant Committee and more than £670,000 the Army Sport Control Board, alongside a host of smaller grants to organisations such as the Military Wives Choirs and SSAFA.

It also funds building projects such the new Soldiers’ Centre at Pirbright which received £7 million.

We are grateful for the continued support we receive from the ACF, for our work to provide guidance to serving personnel and their families, and to offer them a voice to policy makers and service providers.

We have contributed to ACF impact report, which is available to read on the AFC website.
